Memorable Internship :)

If i had not been being too lazy,

I should have written something about my four months internship, which was indeed a memorable experience. From the title itself - Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations IDFR, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia, you know I deal with the matters of diplomatic and foreign relations.

I was exposed to foreign affairs management like organized events/ programme/ courses for local as well as foreign diplomats; involved in fined dining with Tan Srisss and Datosss; attended conference addressed by prominent speakers like Kofi Annan, Dr Mahathir; welcomed representatives from various embassies, and many others activities which i called it as Money Cant Buy Experiences :)

I learnt how does government department function and I learnt what it means by the real Politic. Do not hesitate when people say politic is a dirty game because it does and i think only bad man can win..(I hope the personal statement wont make me get detained under ISA)

I miss the time I've spent in my 5-star hostel, miss the frozen feeling in room due to the out of controlled air-corn; I miss its gym room, its swimming pool, its tennis court; and I miss all the handsome diplomats i have met..their tough body and their deep blue eye. I miss my office though i had many "worked like dog" painful experience; miss also all the officers and staffs who tirelessly provided me assistance and guidance. Last but no least, the other three interns who colored my intern life. Smile

4 months ago, I was doubted that what can an internship do for me...

Now i know better, it's not only for my thesis research purpose, and not only to fulfill requirement of my course in UUM, but also a truly useful experience and exposure to the real working life that turned me into a more mature person (ahem, I hope it does)
